My favorite seed starting method. Follow directions, on the package, & place on the top of your refrigerator (for heat). Check each day. This system rarely needs water added while the clear plastic top is on. When the plants are about 1/2' - 1" high remove the expanded pellet & plant & re-plant in something with more room. I remove the netting around the pellet at this stage since the netting doesn't seem to decompose. Stackable, I have stacked them 2 high on the fridge. Reusable, I have used my 2 for 4 years. I think that the 6 & 24 versions would work about the same. Use any Jiffy 7 refill pellets for refills. Other Jiffy pellets would probably also work - like Jiffy 9 (hint). I wouldn't use these for long term growing, it's too small, just for seed starting. 12 pellets is a good size for the small gardener.
